Confident people know they will be OK.

There is never a shadow of a doubt when somebody is operating from pure faith. They may not be able to tell you how they are going to get to where they want to go but they charge forward knowing that they will reach their goal. 

Such forthright self-belief is often labelled as arrogance, usually by people who wish that they had half as much courage. 

Of course, there is always a reason to use caution. Unless you truly are confident that you can fly I would not recommend jumping out of an aeroplane but overthinking, second guessing will lead to paralysis by analysis. 
Things do usually work out.

When you start to show the world what you have up your sleeve, even if you think are unprepared, assistance and guidance will just show up. The right books, people, essential resources will cross your path with such ease that you wonder why you were so concerned in the first place.
Life starts to feel magical and fun - because it is. 

Exercise

  1. Think of an area in your life where you have been holding yourself back so much that you are too frightened to move.
  2. For the next 24hours take action on it in a way that shows you believe it will work out. 
    At the end of the day check in with yourself. How do you feel? Do you think you do another day?

Remember all great things are achieved in increments. Take steps daily and before you know it you will have reached a week and then maybe a month of believing that you will be OK. 
The more you can do this the more natural it will feel to move forward with certainty.
