My guest on this weeks HER Conversations is Melissa 'Missy' Hall.

Missy's early life experience included emotional and domestic abuse, depression, suicidal thoughts and physical illness. After bravely and candidly sharing first through her private Facebook group, Moments With Missy, it became clear that giving her pain a voice was not only healing to herself but to others.

She is now the author of a book, Ms Missy Speaks, a speaker and a leader guiding and coaching women through their pain.

As we talk Missy shares why she believes people reach the point where suicide seems like their best solution, why it is hard to leave the one who abuses you and how she finally started to heal.

Plus many more powerful insights.

Every week I ask my guests to recall the best piece of advice a woman has ever given them.

Every week I ask my guests to recall the best piece of advice a woman has ever given them.

This week I am speaking with Esther De Al Ford about her work helping women to heal after they have suffered a sexual trauma.

As with most healers, her desire to serve came from her own trauma experience and her subsequent journey back to feeling safe in her own body.

Esther candidly shares her story during this episode and as she talks we will hear about:
The best things to say to someone who has found the courage to share their story with you
and some of the tools she uses to help her clients heal.
My biggest takeaways from this conversation are that it is always about communication.
